Geocache Description:

This is the fifth in my 'I remember' mini series of caches in N Delta. For this one, I can remember, not that long ago, when the price of gas was only 35 cents a litre....that's a full dollar or loonie, per litre, less than it is today.

We all talk about saving the environment and going 'green', so my question is....how far will you go for a cache? Do you need to fill a calendar day with a find? Is there a special cache you want to find? Are you looking for a chance for a FTF on a new listing? Do you need a find to continue a consecutive find streak?....or, do you wait, and load 5, 10, 20 or more caches to do in a specific area?? Just how much are you willing to pay for a 'smilie'? 50 cents, $1.00, $2.00 or more? I don't know if there are any statistics, but I'd say over 99% of us drive to caches. I can't think of any other activity that directly pays more, as the price of gas goes up! This is really something to think about now, with the record setting high gas prices....as a new listing pops up, just down the block from you....and how often does that happen?! Have fun, extreme stealth required. Timmies card, if I can get it to cache in time, or I'll contact the FTF. Sorry, not a very elaborate container, this time! Please bring your own writing utensil. Wow! Hidden at 545pm, written and submitted at 615pm, published at 730pm and FTF by....Adroit Seeker, mcwilli, sweet-marie,and Coachdoug... as far as I can figure, at 8pm !! congrats!! Thanks all for looking.
