Geocache Description:

A continuation of the series for, regrettably, a growing list of fallen heroes in the War on Terror from the Los Angeles area.

REALLY COOL park setting! MUST SEE! This is a commercial area with new corporate offices across the street, but someone had the forethought of putting in a rather intriguing park, with an unusual amphitheater. There are several man-made ponds connected to each other with running streams, all stocked with fish and frogs. If you go in the early evening, you will hear a fairly loud chorus of them.

This area was previously part of the Hughes Airport, very near the threshold of old Runway 23, just west of Teale Street.

About this cache: Potential HIGH muggle area! The area is open during daylight hours only (sunrise to sunset) This cache is nestled away in Jasmine plants near the amphitheater. The area is very avidly patrolled by security guards on foot and powered somethingorothers.

This cache would be a good night snatch (park is not open after sunset...) it's near the street...
