The 16th tee at Granite Pointe is a popular spot for weddings.
In fact, TeKnIcIaN married Mrs. TeKnIcIaN close to this very
spot.
Up above the highest teebox is a bench that overlooks the
teeboxes and a fantastic view of the lake, bridge, and glacier. The
bench actually sits on a portion of the Trans-Canada Trail - or at
least a strangely isolated portion of it. You can park at the end
of Forin Road and walk to the trailhead, which is just off the cart
path. After finding the cache, you can keep on going down to the
far end of the trail on Golf Links Road. Naturally, you can do this
in reverse order if you like.
Alternatively, you can always head out for a round of golf and
take a quick duck into the forest when you get to the 16th tee.
