This cache is located at one of the joys of Geo-dog Dakota's (a dog) life. It is simple and fun, with lots of great scenery and a nice walk for everyone. The surrounding area is handicap accessible, but the cache is not. It's a great place for dogs and kids of all ages.
Enjoy a nice walk around the harbor park area of Rockland Maine. Different terrains are easy for anyone and a treat to the four legged friends in our lives. Depending on the season, the water can be a nice playground and a picinic is possible.
Visit where the bay meets the coast; the Blues and the Lobster Fest (each July and August); the ships and yachts of all shapes and sizes visit.
A working harbor for fine dining treats, be sure to visit The Pearl, Amalfi, the worlds largest lobster and lobster cooker, and the most festive place in Maine.
Accessible year round, but very cold in the winter, and wonderful in the summer. Many visit from around the world to these multi-festival grounds.
