Geocache Description:

This cache is located on the West Trail at the Nordic Heritage Sports Center.

Follow the West Trail via Eric's Around the Mountain Trail to find this cache. Once you have found the cache and signed the log, please replace it for others to enjoy.

This cache was the culmination of a week-long geocaching class for area 4th and 5th graders titled "High Tech Treasure Hunt." This class was offered through Project Explore at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Project Explore is a summer enrichment program for students in grades 2-8. It is designed to provide exploratory activities that will develop cognitive potential and will integrate the talents, skills, and creativity of each individual participant.
