Råda kyrka

Råda kyrka byggdes år 1712 och restaurerades år 1918. Från början var kyrkan ljusgul, till skillnad från dagens röda färg som den fick i början av 1800-talet. Man har funnit att Råda redan på 1500-talet hade en kyrka, och att den kyrka som står på platsen idag placeras precis jämte den gamla kyrkan.

Altaruppsatsen i kyrkan är gjord av P Weber och skapades år 1739. Predikstolen kommer från Fässbergs gamla kyrka då den skänktes till Råda kyrka 1690. Den byggdes troligtvis i början av 1600-talet. Takmålningen är från 1734 och är gjord av Christian von Schönfeldt. Dopfunten fick kyrkan 1918 och är ritad av S Curman. Den är byggd i trä och dess fat och huv är gjord i koppar. Dopkannan är från år 1964.

Kyrkklockan är från 1589, men den används inte längre utan förvaras i klocktornet. Den stora kyrkklockan som används idag gjöts 1926 och den lilla kyrkklockan år 1968.

Orgeln är byggd år 1909 och förbättrades år 1949. Den har 17 stämmor och 2 manualer och pedal.

Denna geocache är inte placerad i kyrkomuren, ej heller inne på kyrkogården. Ta med dig en egen penna. Tidigare hette denna geocache "KV #69 - Råda kyrka".
Råda kyrka was built in the year 1712 and renovated in 1918. Originally the church was painted in a light yellow color, compared to the red color that it received in the start of the 19:th century. It has been found that Råda already in the 16:th century had a church, and that the church that today stands in the place was placed right besides the old one.

The altarpiece in the church was made by P Weber and was created in the year 1739. The pulpit comes from Fässbergs gamla kyrka and was donated to Råda kyrka in 1690. It was probably built in the start of the 17:th century. The ceiling painting is from 1734 and was created by Chrisitian von Schönfeldt. The Christening font the church received in 1918 and was designed by S Curman. It is made in wood and its plate and hood in copper. The Christening pitcher is from 1964.
The church bell is from 1589, but is no longer in use but is kept in the church tower. The large church bell that is in used today was cast in 1926 and the small church bell in 1968.

The organ was built in the year 1909 and was enhanced in the year 1949. It has 17 stops and 2 manuals and pedal.
