A great start to a 1.2 mile section of the Piedmont Trail. A large ammo can a short distance off the trail.
FTF Prize is a Trackable to call your own - it's in the bag with the log book :-)
This part of the Piedmont trail is a 1.2 mile loop trail that is open to the public on the Prince William campus of George Mason University. There is plenty of free parking nearby at the Freedom aquatic and fitness center.
This portion of the Piedmont trail was the result of a partnership between the Prince William trails and streams coalition and George Mason University. A group of dedicated volunteers coordinated by the EDGE (MASON's center for team and organizational learning) helped to build and continues to maintain this trail, where you can jog, hike, bike, walk your dog or bird watch. As you progress down the trail take a look at the 'elements' which are creatively used to foster a variety of team and individual skills. Many of these elements are marked with no trespassing signs, please respect these signs. The trail opened October 2010.
This cache was placed with permission from George Mason University and the center for team and organizational learning.
Congrats to reedkickball for the FTF!!
