Enjoy good company while meeting old caching friends and making
new ones. Food is available at Pedrin's Dairy Bar, a local drive-in
restaurant which is a favorite of everyone in the area. Anyone who
plans to eat will be responsible for purchasing their own
food/drink.
The event will go from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. in the picnic area
behind the food stand.
There will be a table for trading tb's and gc's
NOTICE: 8/25/11 The weather looks like it may be nasty on Sunday
(thank you Irene!). Gary and I still want to host the event, but
outside may not be a lot of fun. I have contacted the Bounti-Fare
Restaurant down the street and they are willing to put together a
cold picnic buffet if there are enough people attending. I don't
know how much it will cost pp. Please let me know if you'll be
here, rain or shine, and I'll have a better idea of where to go
with this.
NOTICE #2: 8/26/11 Due to the prediction of Hurricane Irene
coming to the Berkshires at her worst, we feel forced to postpone
this event. Sorry to everyone who was willing to drive the distance
to attend despite the weather! We don't want to put anyone in
danger - that wouldn't be any fun.
NOTICE #3 Pedrin's has agreed to let us host the event on
Saturday, 9/3/11 from 4:30 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. They will even provide
a DJ for part of the evening. I hope you'll all be able to join us
then.
Everyone is responsible for purchasing their own food from
the window. If it's raining we will be meeting under the pavilion.
They will put reserved signs out for us.
