Janky- adjective- p. jan-key: old and delapidated; refers almost exclusively to inanimate material, not up to acceptable standards.
Years ago there used to be a cache here called "Centennial Park". Still a decent spot for a cache and good spot to check out some wildlife. You are looking for a larger lock-n-lock. There is evidence that this gets some foot traffic, so PLEASE hide it as well or better than found- there is plenty of camo in there.
I was out with daughter #2 moving a cache in the area when I noticed the cache that was here is now gone- it's right off the walking path and into the woods a little. Due to the little pond in there, and we there at dusk and the mosquitos were pretty thick, so when I told her I was going in to hide a cache, she said "I'll just wait here on this Janky Bench"....hence the name...
Have fun!
