Happy Heron! This cache is located at the site of the Great Blue Heron Music Festival,an annual tradition for our family. This cache was placed with permission from the property owner in honor of the 20th GBH being held in 2011. The container is a small Plastic Screw top only large enough for small trade items, a log and writing utensil. Please do not remove cache. FTF gets a travel bug picked up in Massachusetts. If you come the first weekend of July you can join the thousands of festival goers, but you might have a hard time getting to the cache without being spotted. Not only is the festival held here in july but this is also the sight of the organic farm Green Heron Growers. The Cache again is on private property,however it is only a Few steps from the car, so there is no need to invade anyone's privacy, just wanted to share one of our families favorite summer time places.
