Pretend you are one of the early settlers that lived in the nearby homestead and take a wander over the grazing land overlooking the shores of Lake Joondalup. Climb the paddock trees on the way to this cache and stroll down to the viewing platform nearby for a great view of the lake.
There are a few options for getting to this geocache. One idea is to park at Neil Hawkins Park (located at the foot of Boas Avenue, Joondalup) and ride, scoot or walk about 1.5km north along the sealed footpath until you approach the grazing land. If that is a little too far, you can park in the small parking lot on Lakeside Drive near the foot of Aldgate Street (S 031 43.894', E 115 46.203') and it is an easy walk from there (but not suitable for prams).
This cache contains a great first-to-find prize for the first KID to log the cache.
If you have a Nature Play WA passport (www.natureplaywa.org.au/passport), give yourself a stamp with the stamp provided.
