Located on the Town of Hanover's boat launch site with their permission. Site is on Cattaraugus Creek at Sunset Bay and Lake Erie. There is a good paved parking lot and the walk is short.
This cache represents the eastern end of a 66 mile Grape Escarpment Scenic Drive being developed between Sunset Bay in Hanover NY and Shades Beach in Harborcreek PA .
The drive will show off the largest grape growing region east of the Mississippi.
The Vineyard series of caches are generally easy to get to and find intended for family geochacing experience as well as showing off the beautiful grape country here with 30,000 acres of grapes.
