Geocache Description:

This is the 3rd in a series highlighting Eagle Scout Projects in the Heart of Ohio Council.

This Cache actually highlights 3 Eagle Scout projects done by Troop 214 over the years, the first is a bridge built on the Galpin Nature trail. The 2nd is the pond by Abbotts tomb which was cleaned up and made presentable, that project was completed in 1997 after 4 years of hard work(now it is in the process of being filled in)done by a fellow Geocacher. And the 3rd is at the Cache location, the concrete border around the sitting bench replaced a wooden one (the Scouts set all the forms by themselves) a french drain was added and the back was sloped to even out the area along with new mulch and plants. It took over 250 manhours and was completed for under $150. (the bench was already there)With the sucess of the other two in this series hopefully we can get more submissions and reach our goal of 12.
