Geocache Description:

*****12-21-11 Coins are all gone, thanks for finding this cache though. I would also caution against placing any trackables here as they seem to get stolen or else not logged by the people that pick them up. Such a bummer***
A great little museum showcasing rail road history.

Please be gentle on the plant life very near GZ.

Nearby is a horse-drawn trolley car at the museum. It is the only Portland Street Railway Co. car to survive from the 1800s.

-- 2011 North Clackamas County Geocaching Contest --

Starts: July 18, 2011

Ends: Whenever the geocoins run out!

This geocache will remain a regular geocache after the contest is over.

- One of Ten Caches -

There are ten geocaches in this series that forms the Mt Hood Territory Geocache Contest sponsored by the North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce and the Clackamas County Tourism and Cultural Affairs (CCTCA).

The 10 caches in the North Clackamas County Series are:
GC2Y71E GC2YAC2
GC2YXKZ GC2YNH2
GC2Y71J GC2YZ64
GC2YZ7T GC2Z6Q5
GC2YVQ1 GC3028A

You must find 7 of these 10 caches in order to complete this challenge and receive your North Clackamas County geocoin.

If at any time during this challenge a substitute cache must be placed, a note will be placed on GC2Y71E’s web page as the last item in the body of the cache Information Page (just above where you find the “Hint”). This note will be the single source of information about any changes so please place GC2Y71E on your “Watch List” if you want to receive email notification of changes.

You can download a registration form at: North Clackamas County Chamber. or Sunrise Communities.

Registration forms and geocoins can be picked up during office hours at:
North Clackamas County Chamber of Commerce
7740 Southeast Harmony Road
Milwaukie, OR 97222-1269

They can also be picked up 24 x 7 at:
Monarch Hotel
12566 Southeast 93rd Avenue
Portland/Clackamas, OR 97015-9760

Each cache contains a log book and written on the inside of the lid of the ammo can is a 'code word' that you record on your contest registration form. The code word is also printed on white paper that has been laminated and placed in the geocache container. (The code "NC32SCG" is an example.) There are various items in the cache that are there for trade.

As we anticipate that there will be heavy traffic to find these geocaches, so please practice the very best of geocaching ethics. Therefore it is very important that you be well aware of muggles and carefully replace the geocaches after you have found and logged your find (Don't forget to record the code word!).

If you discover any problems with the geocache, a quick e-mail to 3MudDogs through my profile on geocaching.com will be very greatly appreciated by the geocachers that will come behind you.
