GOSHIKIDAI As the name is a GOSHIKIDAI, white, blue, black, yellow, lava ridges, including the people with the name of the five colors of red (about 50 square kilometers area of 250m ~ 450m altitude MESA) has relative to the east at Yashima. The base of granite, andesite stone Gutong have not penetrate it, or Sanuki andesite (Sanukaito, commonly known as mad stone, you hear a knock and I) have suffered the. Ohsakiyama garden is located on the north side of the GOSHIKIDAI, located at the north end of Skyline Ohsakiyama GOSHIKIDAI, the park has a gazebo overlooking the Seto Inland Sea, and capable of lawn. Garden is near, and the Seto Inland Sea, History and Folklore Museum and the Kagawa Prefectural Science Museum.

五色台は名のごとく、白、青、黒、黄、赤の五色の名を持つ峰々を含む熔岩台地（MESA　標高250m～450m 面積約50平方キロメートル）で東の屋島と相対しています。 基盤は花崗岩で、これを突抜いて古銅石安山岩、或は讃岐安山岩（サヌカイト、通称カンカン石、たたくと良い音がする）が被っています。 大崎山園地は、五色台の北側に位置し、五色台スカイラインの北端にある大崎山にあり、園内には芝生広場や瀬戸内海を眺めることのできる展望台があります。 展望台からは対岸の岡山県や瀬戸大橋を眺めることができます。 園地周辺には、香川県自然科学館や瀬戸内海歴史民俗資料館などがあります。
