This is the first cache in a series of caches about the Celtic
history, told in an understandable and concise way.
Folkeslagene
Ordet keltisk får ofte en til at tænke på riverdance, Asterix og
Obelix, sækkepiber, flotte mønstre, druider, og kilte. Man tænker
ofte på keltere som forfædre til irere, walisere og skotter. Men
faktisk er kelterne også gallerne der kæmpede mod romerne samt
bretonerne. Så egentlig er det en masse forskellige folkeslag, der
har sproget til fælles, men på trods af denne definition er der
faktisk to grupper med forskellige keltiske sprog, der er så langt
fra hinanden at de ikke ville kunne forstå hinanden.
The nations
The word Celtic often makes one think of Riverdance, Asterix and
Obelix, bagpipes, beautiful patterns, druids, and kilts. They are
thought of as ancestors of the Irishmen, Welsh and Scots. But in
fact the Celts also was the Gauls who fought against the Romans. So
actually it's a lot of different peoples who have language in
common, but in spite of this definition, there are actually two
groups with different Celtic languages.
