Geocache Description:

Why would anyone give a baby a soda bottle?

That question was once posed by a certain unnamed cacher of my acquaintance while we were out on the hunt for a hide of this unique type. I didn't have a good answer then; I'm pretty sure I still don't. If you can shed any wisdom on this timeless philosophical conundrum, by all means do.

Believe it or not, you're looking for one of those particular items at this location, at the current terminus of the Reedy Fork Mountains-to-Sea Trail. I hid this little feller in the height of summer, but during chillier seasons, you might be able to knock a point or two off both the difficulty and terrain ratings. Note: You do not need to cross the creek. And it's not among the rocks—I would not do that to you. No need to remove the container from its mount; just unscrew the lid to access the log (use tweezers, if necessary). Bring your own writing stick.

Park at the posted coordinates, which will put you right at the trailhead, but be aware that parking may be a bit scarce when school is in session.

Congrats to Night-hawk, FTF.
