Geocache Description:

this cache is a travel bug hotel be careful the terrain is steep the container is an ammo box covered in duck tape and filled with swag and is a travel bug hotel. congratulations to Tates1882 on the first to find he wins the CITO Travel Bug and I play with Satellites Path Tag Hitchhiker and gets to take it to its new home.

The Kelton Road was built long before the Oregon Short Line arrived in Idaho. when the line was completed 1883 the stage line was abandoned. now all you see is ruts and tire tracks on ruts. the Kelton Road has two stations in this area Malad and Clover Creek each the exact distance to Bliss and Hagerman Today. This is the new location of the hotel the old one burned down in a fire Ice and Wind and I moved it down range onto a little hill to avoid future fires. The rules of the hotel are: 1.all guest and non guest (bugs and swag) must check in at the front desk and sign the register which is the red book. 2. non guest (swag) can check in but that can not book a room or stay the the night.( I will be checking on the cache often any swag that is not claimed will be removed. The swag rule is still one item pure person.)3.Guest and non guest can come as often as they want. (come and trade I take any geocacher from the armature up to the pro.) 4. don't litter (practice CITO I don't want litter around the cache site.) 5. don't vandalize (I will report this cache as stolen if the site gets vandalized leave it as you found it place the cache exactly as it was.) 6. Bugs must check out when their bus arrives (travel bugs are not keepers or trade objects. if you check a bug in here it can stay but the next geocacher must check it out and record the tracking numbers in the blue book which contains the sticky notes so I know who has checked in and who has checked out. No bug may stay here more then a week when the week is up it will be evicted. Read the form on Geocaching.com on travelbugs for the rules.) 7. No Dipping (dipping is using a travel bug hotel to log your miles. Dipping is not polite and discourages the movement of bugs that belong to someone else. if the bug is not yours leave it in the cache and log it because I will know if someone dipped a bug.) To get here fallow the trail from Crazy Like A Sock and look for a dirt road on your left this is the entrance to the trail. Head due south on the posted heading to reach the cache. For an extreme challenge park at Low Flying Trains and fallow the road until you see ruts watch out for traffic. Things you and your bugs can do here in the valley are we have lots of windmills in the area you can head up on Bell Rapids to check them out or you can look at them from up here. you can travel to the fossil beds and take a tour just don't leave your bugs at Hagerman Fossil Beds Visitor Center. You can hunt you can fish you can do anything in the Hagerman Valley. we have tons of events every year in the Valley for a full list go to the events list at magicvalley.com enjoy the view and Happy Geocaching.
