This cache is located outside the store, with permission of the owners. It is a year-round cache and easily accessible in the snow. Please beware of Muggles, especially during the summer months! Have fun, and enjoy the store :)
When Granite Hall was built in the mid -1800's steamships frequented Round Pond harbor and granite quarries were active. Over the years, it has served as a "saloon" billiard hall, barbershop, dance hall, silent movie theater and ice cream parlor.
Today, this historic landmark is a popular country store known for its old-fashioned penny candy, unique games, toys, books, cards, housewares, candles, tee shirts, hats, jams, jellies, Maine made products, ice cream, plus a whole lot more.
