Short and simple TICKS SUCK. Whether your itchin' for a urban tick
free smiley, or itchin' after being in tick territory and just want
a break, this cache is for you. Happy Canada Day!
I guess I'm lucky. I only started caching in August of 2010
and
never encountered ticks till the Summer of 2011. However in
the
times I did encounter them I have grown to hate them ever so
much.
Finding ticks on myself was really discouraging and I
questioned
why I was doing this just for a smiley.
So I made a cache in which is tick and thorn free. The two things
that make geocaching disappointing. The area is quite nice, not too
urban, and not too bushy. The cache itself depending on when in the
year you get it can be more or less difficult. You may get wet.
Container is small, camo'd and contains only a log sheet. Small
items may fit. BYOP.
Obviously I cannot guarantee this cache as 'tick
free'. However the area does not seem like the area in which they
would be. If you do find a tick here I sincerely apologize.
