Geocache Description:

This is a 200ml magnetic that should be a quick snatch and grab. Please take care to remount the container securely. Good easy parking at S 32 30 666, E 115 45 31.

This piece of artwork has always attracted Mr Moneybox’ imagination. It has finally inspired his thought processes to come up with yet another clever cache to break up the trip from the south west to the city. There is a safe parking haven under the nearby bridge from where you can walk to seek out the cache along a protected walkway. We hope you enjoy this iconic piece of art as much as we do while you seek out the sun...we mean cache.

Applied aluminium & concrete artwork – Sun Mandala
Artist: Gary Aitken

This applied relief sculptural artwork is inspired by the Mandurah sunset and is based on a geometric mandala design that radiates out from the centre of a two hundred metre long coloured concrete retaining wall. The wall is located adjacent to a painted artwork on Gordon Road Bridge which has a complementary theme.

Congratulations to Muffy1953, a first find and a FTF.
