Geocache Description:

The cache is a sistema small container and has log book, pencils and a couple of swaps. Take a writing stick just in case. Great views, easy walk and a lot of history to observe.

The cache will take you to an historical area on the Tasman Peninsula where ruins are prevalent but still allows you to enjoy a nice nature walk. This is the third in a Trilogy along the Salt Water River Road; the first is "A Way To Heaven" and the second, "Salties".
The cache is situated near the water so be careful with the geo-kids you take along. They'll enjoy the area too!!
Try and picture the old pier through the viewer!
Learn what was to be built at a length of 740 yards.
Find pieces of coal!!
Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the site.
There are some small cliffs near Ground Zero; but it is not necessary to go near these to access the cache; but watch the little ones just in case.
Please enjoy the cache and the area.
