Geocache Description:


This was one of the former Kilmarnock Chess series [Bishop 1], but has been renamed due to additional archiving.

The elegant, almost gentleman like, piece on the board is the bishop. A very effective piece that glides in diagonal lines.

And now for the cache. The Henderson Church is a grand looking building sitting on London Road, Kilmarnock. It sits on the bank of the River Irvine, and is also the home of the 37th Ayrshire Scout Group.

The cache does not sit on the church or even on it's grounds, but is very close by. This is a 35mm film canister you are looking for. There is parking near by, but please don't use the private church car park.

It might be worth mentioning that the closest residential street to the Henderson Church is Braeside Court. You may be concentrating on the brae between this street and the church. Please replace the camouflage as found. Happy hunting.
