[FIN]: Kangasalan itäinen hautausmaa sijaitsee Huutijärvellä, Alatien varrella noin 2,5 km päässä kylän keskustasta. Orapihlaja-aidan rajaaman hautausmaan pääportti on Jokioistentiellä. Suorakulmaisen hautausmaan halkaisee pohjois-eteläsuunnassa koivuin reunustettu portilta portille ulottuva hiekkakäytävä.
Hautausmaa perustettiin vuonna 1930 ja ensimmäinen hautaus tehtiin vuonna 1932 osastolle 2. Yhteensä osastoja on 24 kpl, joista hautauskäytössä on 16 osastoa. Hautarivit erottaa toisistaan lähes
kaikilla osastoilla pensasaita. Hautausmaan kokonaispinta-ala on 4,3 hehtaaria, hautapaikkoja on 2737 kpl eli hautasijoja 5474 kpl.
Ammattinimikkeitä, joita löytyy paljon vanhan hautausmaan hautakivistä, ei ole enää juuri lainkaan kaiverrettuina hautakiviin. Hautausmaan mahdollisesti erikoisin muistomerkki löytyy osaston 8 itäreunasta: hautakivi, jossa on kiinnitettynä maalaus. Valitettavasti luonnon sääolosuhteet ovat jo tehneet maalaukselle tehtävänsä. Alueelta löytyy myös useita hautakiviä, joihin on kaiverrettu ortodoksinen risti.
1920-luvulta 1940-luvun lopulle saakka oli suosittua käyttää saksalaisen esikuvansa mukaista uutta muistomerkkityyppiä, moniosaista kivistä muistomerkkiä. Osastoilla 2-5 on tällaisia muistomerkkejä. Näiden hautakivien hoitoon kiinnitetään nykyisin erityistä huomiota, jotta ajalle ominaiset piirteet saataisiin säilytettyä.
Alueella sijaitsee myös Arvo Eräsen suunnittema kappeli, joka vihittiin käyttöön vuonna 1940. Luoteiskulmassa sijaitsee myös punaiseksi maalattu seurakuntasali sekä ruskeaksi maalattu puinen huoltorakennus. Kappelin vieressä on muualle haudattujen muistokivi.
Itäisellä hautausmaalla tehdään nykyisin eniten hautauksia Kangasalan hautausmaista.

Kätkö on helppo, lähes drive-in kätkö. Huomaa, että kätkössä ei ole tilaa vaihdokeille.
[ENG]: Eastern cemetery of Kangasala locates in Huutijärvi on Alatie, approx. 2,5 km away from the village centre. The main gate of the cemetery is on Jokioistentie. The rectangular cemetery is surrounded by a hawthorn fence. The cemetery is splitted by a gravel path in north-south direction from gate to gate.
The cemetery was founded in 1930 and the first burial was done in 1932 in section 2. There are total of 24 sections in the cemetery. 16 of those are used in burials. The grave rows are separated by bush
fences in most of the sections. The total area of the semetery is 10.6 acres. There are room for 5474 persons to be buried in the cemetery.
Professions are no longer engraved into the grovestones as can be found in older cemetery in the village center. Probably the most extraordinary memorial can be found in the eastern border of section 8: a stone, which has a painting attached. Unfortunately the painting has been spoiled by the nature. It is now impossible to say what the painting has been represented. One can also find some Orthodox crosses in grave stones.
From 1920's to end of 1940's it was popular to use new memorial type as done in Germany; the memorial had multiple part made by stone. One can find this kind of memorials in sections 2 to 5. These stones are nowadays handled with care as it is important to keep the memorials as is.
There is also a chapel designed by Arvo Eränen in the area. The chapel was inaugurated in 1940. A parish hall painted in red and a brown painted maintenance building is located in the north-western part of
the area. Elsewhere buried has the own memorial beside the chapel.
The most of the burials in Kangasala are done here in eastern cemetary at present.
The cache is gentle, almost an drive-in cache. Please notice that there is no room for trackables in the cache.
