30 Jahre nach Pink Floyd 'The Wall' wurde dieser Cache in Engelberg versteckt. Er befindet sich auf dem Studentenweg zwischen Grünenwald und Engelberg. Seit dem 10. Dezember 2010 wird die Strecke der Zentralbahn (früher LSE) zwischen Grafenort und Engelberg in einem Tunnel geführt. Was für die Einen mehr Kapazität und kürzere Reisezeit bedeutet, ist für die Anderen ein Verlust an Eisenbahn-Romantik, da das steile Stück nun nicht mehr im Schrittempo erklommen wird. Vom Cache aus kann man das alte Bahntrassee noch erkennen.
Der Weg zum Cache: von Grünenwald oder von Engelberg. Noch besser ist der Rundweg Engelberg-Grünenwald-Engelberg durch die Aa-Schlucht (sensationell) und den Studentenweg (ca.1.5 Std). WICHTIG: der Cache ist nur auf dem Weg zwischen den Wegpunkten P1 und P2 erreichbar! Um den Cache zu finden braucht der Weg nicht verlassen zu werden, bring einen Stift mit für den Log.

This cache was hidden near Engelberg roughly 30 years after the famous Pink Floyd 'The Wall'. It is located on the Students’ Trail (Studentenweg) between Grünenwald and Engelberg. Since December 10, 2010 the Zentralbahn (formerly LSE) bypasses the steep gradient by a tunnel. For some this means increased capacity and shortened travel time, for others it is a deplored loss of railroad romantics as this steep part of the journey to Engelberg is not any longer passed at walking speed. From the cache the old railroad bed can still be seen.
Access to the cache: from Grünenwald or from Engelberg. Even better is the trail Engelberg-Grünenwald-Engelberg through the Aa-Canyon (picturesque) and the Students' Trail (approx. 1.5 hrs roundtrip). IMPORTANT: The cache can only be reached by the two waypoints P1 and P2! To find the cache do not leave the trail and bring your own pen for log-in.
