A good viewpoint near the access track to the Waikerikeri DOC reserve.
If you have the time it is a good walk up to the reserve where Mountain Totara (Totara nivalis) and Hall's Totara can be found.
Please keep away during lambing. (October and November).
An infrequently visited valley near Clyde. Someone in our harrier club posed the question as to where the name came from. So far no answers, but we are sure someone must be able to translate,
