Geocache Description:

Update Sept 2014: For reasons unknown to us, the city of Winkler has removed all the "Welcome to Winkler" signs. There used to be one located on the highways leading in from the N, S, E and W. But not anymore....so back to your regular scheduled programing.

If you like the road less traveled, this might be the way to enter (or leave) the City. If you keep on heading south, your next stop would likely be the Canada/USA border crossing near Walhalla N.D.
