Deer oh Deer!! Traditional Cache

The cache is placed in the woods to the back of Hermitage village. These are beautiful woods full of wild life.
The cache itself is a small plastic box with a log book, pencil and a few trinkets for swaps. There are several footpaths through the woods, most are easy walking but do have slopes and in parts are overgrown with ferns and nettles etc. As you can probably tell from the title of the cache you may see some deer if you are quiet. On the day we hid the cache we saw three deer just sat watching us!! There are several types of woodpecker in the woods including the Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers. So who knows what else you may see.
