Geocache Description:

Baxters Dirt Trail, is planted at the mouth of baxters Wood, After Our Long Trek Down a Nearby Dirt Trail in the New Car.

We didn't know where we were going to plant this cache when we first set off, I just knew it was going to be a place that was important to me that reminded me of my childhood.

We set off in our new car, that we have only had two days, with the intention of showing Barry some of my childhood haunts.

Somehow or other we ended up on the road down to the river Browney, and decided to continue through the farm, and what used to be not quite so bad a road to travel when I was a young un.

It took us an hour, of careful driving, maneuvering and opening gates, whilst avoiding pot holes, and trying to prevent ourselves from grounding the car on mounds of grass, before we finally came out on the main road, not far from the area we decided to leave our cache.

This place was somewhere not far from an Aunts house, where I used to go walking and cycling when I was young. When we saw the ideal spot for our cache, we knew it was right.

Both me and Barry are Autistic and numbers, facts and figures are very important to us, so the hiding place, and the clue below, helps us to remember the exact location of the cache ourselves, as well as making it significant.

The cache is small, and contains a log book and a pencil, as well as two small items.

The FTF may take one of these items, without leaving anything in turn unless, they wish too, The other item should be swapped for something of equal value.

Parking is available, in a lay by as you first enter the wood, within a short distance from the cache itself.
