A Day at the Races Traditional Cache

A public path not too many people know about that leads down to breathtaking views over Martindale Pond at the starting gates of rowing races.
I'd like to thank the St. Catharines Standard for alerting me about this area. In the Saturday July 2nd, 2011 issue the Standard answered a question regarding the area and stated it is public property.
So I went down here just to check it out and needed to leave a cache behind to share the area. Please be respectful of the area as it is surrounded by million dollar homes with large open (yet fenced) backyards.
The cache itself is painted green, small, contains a log book and no pen. May be able to fit small items.
Would be a pretty hard night cache. Daylight is key. If you do try this at night do NOT shine any lights on the nearby houses!
Watch out for biting ants near GZ!
