Geocache Description:

Cache is dedicated to Manor House in village Velka Ida. The cache is hidden in open to the public park.

The Manor House

The Manor house was built as single-storey building in the classic style in the first half of the 19th century. However, after a series of adjustments the building lost its original face. Today it occassionaly serves as a community center.

Velka Ida

The first written mention of the village Velka Ida is from the time of King Bela the fourth around 1251. The inhabitants of the village belonged to the genus Aba, among whom were family gags, Somos, Nadasdy, and Ida. Village through the centuries had several names Ida, Ida Magna, Nogyda, Nagyda, Nogida, Nagy Ida, Nagyida today's great to go.
