There is ample parking along the roadside near the cache. It
is
easier to park on the side heading out of Morecambe towards
Hest
Bank, on the other side of the road it's residential so there
are
less parking spaces, but it's never difficult to park, it's not
a
busy section of the prom.
On a clear day, looking from your right as you sit here, you
can
see Hest Bank, Arnside, Grange Over Sands, the Lakeland Hills (on
a
very clear day you can see Scafell Pike in the distance),
Barrow
Docks and the gas and oil fields in the Bay, and the windmills.
The name of this cache is taken from an Alan Bennett
screenplay set in Morecambe. This would be an excellent site
to
watch the sun go down.
Please use your log to describe what you see here. I pass
this
place everyday on my way to work. I'm very lucky!
