Geocache Description:

A passing tribute to a funny incident one sweaty afternoon a couple years ago...

This cache is a bit of a departure. This one is a camo painted o-ring match tube. You'll be out in front of the music school and enjoying a very cool fountain. I was here a year or two ago during a very sweaty summer, looking for a cache. That cache is now archived, so I'm happy to fill this gap. The thing was, when I was here looking for it, I was dressed VERY casually. This was also during the period when I was looking sort of like a civil war deserter, with my scruffy beard and long hair. (i.e. looked like a sweaty homeless guy with everything he owned on his bicycle... the same look as in my profile pic). Anyway, I saw that old cache (one of those postage stamp sized breath strip things... ARRRRGH...) right away, but had to wait while some kind of recital cleared out. A seemingly endless contingent of petite Asian women with violin cases filed by. I bided my time, dripped sweat, and waited for my chance to get the cache. I was seriously thinking about jumping in the fountain. My reverie was broken when someone's mom asked me how I was doing. I replied that I was fine. And then she slipped me a dollar. Apparently, I was doing a good job of looking homeless. Hell, I kept the dollar, and signed that old log! That cache is gone now, but this one will take its place.
Good luck finding it. Bring your own writing instrument.

Cache on!

GOOD WORK, REDHAWK!!!

I remember a few years ago when the Hawk swooping down on my new caches was a pretty regular event. Glad to see you got this one! Sure wish there'd been some kind of breeze on the day I describe on this listing! No mist at all for me that day!
