Exploring_E: Well I am now archiving this Geocache, as I am unable to continue maintaining it. I hope that someone else decides to replace the Geocaches in this really interesting district, to continue drawing people down here.

Farewell Bearii, it was a great 17 years, but life takes me in a different direction now and I must see where it the journey takes me.

Geocache Description:

The Bearii Dreaming geoacache is located just off a bushtrack leading from the hamlet of Bearii, through bushland and past farmland to the Barmah Forest.

The GZ is located along a quiet little bushtrack, which can become impassable further along if wet, although reaching the GZ itself should be fairly easy for most.

At the GZ you may be observed by the local wildlife and scrutinised by sheep in the paddocks nearby. Keep an ear open for the occasional local driving through the area on the way to do fishing or whatnot. It's a lovely area to take a drive or a walk and we often see Koalas, Kangaroos and all manner of reptiles and birdlife; I've always enjoyed this little haven of peace and quiet, allowing for day dreams a million miles away from the city.

The Bearii Dreaming Geocache links up a number of geocaches in the area; it is a large sistema container, camoflagued and tucked away in a neat hiding place. Please make sure it is hidden away after you've signed the log (and please don't forget to log any Travel Bugs or Geocoins you pick up).

Be mindful of snakes, especially now that we have the warmer weather back upon us!
