The "Human Element" refers to the human behavior and psychology factors in which we go about our everyday processes, with various aspects that affect many things that we do.
For example ...
- All human beings are all prone to error.
- Some are more resistant to change than others.
- Some are more emotional and/or irrational.
- Some are more logical and rational.
- Some are objective and realistic.
- Some are subjective and judgmental.
- Some are more patient than others.
- Some just cause problems for others.
- etc., etc.,
Thus human traits affect how you go about implementing changes and/or providing ways that can assist you in your geocaching experience.
You can remove most of the human element from geocaching by mixing a pre-determined amount of elements together to achieve the right mix for a cache. But you still need the human element to set up, administer and maintain the cache. For example, cobalt and lanthanum, mixed with four parts osmium will cause the human element to smell like something died but when approached properly it will become more familiar to you. As humans we normally spend way too much time trying to accomplish things that are out of our control but given the right mix of time, we can accomplish many things. The human element plays a major factor in this cache because when lead combined with sulfer and ten parts of neptunium causes humans to go faster to places that seem to take forever.
Speed really isn't the case here but as any geocacher will declare, if your FTF, a prize awaits. I have been waiting for the right element to appear before placing my first cache here in Florida but I could not wait any longer. I could go on rambling about the human element and mixing allot of different elements together but that would be wasting my time and yours. So do us all a favor and go get
this cache!!!!
