911-BrownFamily & NightKnight present The September 11th Event at Morse Park, 5540 Bellaterra Drive (near Fire Poppy) in Elk Grove.
Event starts at 9:11am.
****FTF honors go to Sailorscodgers****
We will provide some basic breakfast fare and invite you to bring some to share. BBQ pits are available.
There is ample parking, restrooms, a water play area for the kids, a jogging trail, and loads of covered space reserved for us here.
Will will have a raffle and 50/50 drawing. Raffle donations will be greatly appreciated.
We plan on having a GPS hunt within the park and a "cheat sheet" available for anyone who has not yet solved 911-BrownFamiliy's "In Remembrance..." cache.
UPDATE:
We have added a couple activities. There will be a fire extinguisher demo and a "build your own first aid kit" table. The kits will be pocket sized and aimed towards a Geocacher's needs.
Supplies we are looking for are:
Tick removers
Poison Oak wash (single use size)
Bug repellant wipes
Tweezers
Extra bandaids
Extra supplies will be returned to the donator or stocked in the RCGDS First Aid box.
