This is a camoflaged film canister.
This is placed NEAR the Historic Landmark in Cooke City - The Cooke City Store. We placed the cache in celebration of their 125th anniversary this year (2011)so you may want to take some time and read the plaque at the front of the store after you have found the cache. The cache is not on store property, it is across the alley, and it is placed with store owner's knowledge. When looking for the cache there is no need to go inside the abandoned cabin. PLEASE DO NOT LOOK FOR THE CACHE ON THE BACK SIDE OF THE STORE THAT INCLUDES THE TIN CELLAR ENTRY!
