UTR 10 - Shoulthwaite Gill Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Barrower: Due to the ongoing major pipe line work which appears to have no sign of an early end plus the fact that the bracken at the other end of the route appears to be growing higher each year, I have decided to Archive the series.
All the cache containers I can presently get to have now been removed.

Geocache Description:

UTR or Under the Riggs is a 2½ - 3 mile low level circular walk taking in 12 varying caches.

The walk takes you out along good paths under High Rigg and the return journey travels below Brackenrigg, hence to the name.
Suggested Park & Start is at the Lay-by at Rough How Bridge just off the A591, (N54 34.571 W003 05.032). I would also suggest that you take a pen/pencil with you and a pair of tweezers or similar would probably help.
I would like to thank the local farmers and landowner for their kind permission in allowing these caches to be placed on their land. All they have asked is that there is no climbing over or damaged caused to any walls or fences.

A lovely spot this, after your jungle experience in the bracken (depending on the time of year, of course)
Please take care where you put your feet as there could be an unpleasant drop if you wander too far. The cache has been placed within a metre of the path.
I have attached a log extraction tool to the the cache, but in case it gets lost, your tweezers may help you out again.
