Simpson Centennial Traditional Cache
onecrazycanadian: Hi,
I am archiving this cache since it has been disabled for almost 2 years and there has been no action taken to perform the needed maintenance. If the owner wishes to replace the cache they may do so with a new listing.
Thanks

This Cache was placed during the Centennial Celebration for Simpson. I placed it to celebrate my mothers home town so that others can share in this small community.
Should be an easy find. As long as the grass remains mowed - no bushwacking required. Flat approach, no serious hiking involoved.
FTF is a nifty spice shaker. Congratulations to schnor and grdelainey for the FTF!
Simpson is a small village between Regina and Saskatoon on Highway 2. The post office was founded in 1911 by Herman Bergren and Joseph Newman during construction of the Canadian Pacific Railway. It is named after George Simpson, a governor of the Hudson's Bay Company.
Population is roughly 150 people with approximately 80 dwellings. As of 1 July 2011, the town still contained a diner, bar, hotel, co-op, post office and gas station.
Take a drive through town - the original school and a few other old buidlings (hotel, elevator, church) are still around!
Cache is a small lock n' lock. Items in the cache are: log book, pencil, smilely magnets, Canada flag patches, Simpson Centennial key chain and the FTF prize - Spice shaker.
