VARFUL MAGURA SALICII cu cei - 827 m (dupa unele harti 824m), este al doilea varf ca inaltime din imediata apropiere a municipiului Cluj-Napoca, fiind depasit de varful Peana 833 m.
Varful Peana poate fi vazut de pe varful Magura la aprox. 2.000 m spre NV.
Desi este doar al doi-lea ca inaltime este, probabil, cel mai frumos punct de belvedere din vecinatatea Clujului.
Pe vreme buna, cu un binoclu, puteti admira de aici Cheile Turzii, Muntii Trascau, Muntele Mare cu partia de la Baisoara si localitatile de pe culmi, pana si statia meteo de pe Vladeasa.
Este situat la doar 3 ore de mers pe jos din cartierul Manastur, chiar la intrare în Salicea cum vii dinspre Faget.
Cu masina se poate merge pâna la 500 metri de acesta, iar cu bicicleta - sau, de ce nu?, cu ATV-ul - pâna în vârf.
Si pe o pajiste atat de frumoasa, intra in contact direct cu natura, paseste si bucura-te de aceasta iarba minunata

MAGURA SALICII PEAK with its 827 m (after some maps 824m), is the second highest peak in the vicinity of Cluj-Napoca, surpassed by the Peana Peak – 833 m.
Peana Peak can be seen from top of Magura Peak at approx. 2,000 m to the northwest.
Although it is only the second one as height Magura Peak is probably the most beautiful lookout point in the vicinity of Cluj.
In good weather, with binoculars, you can admire from here Turda Gorges, Trascau Mountains, “muntele Mare” Mountain, the ski slope of Baisoara and localities in the hills, even the weather station on Vladeasa.
It is located just 3 hours of walking from the Manastur neighborhood, at the entrance in the village of Salicea, coming from Faget.
The car can go up to 500 meters of it, and the bike - or why not?,ATV - to the top.
