What about carbon? Carbon is the basis for everything organic,
including your body and mine.
Interesting things about carbon:
- Pencil lead is made of carbon
- Diamonds are made of carbon
- Coal is made of carbon
- Cow farts are made of carbon
- You are made of carbon
Carbon has 6 protons. Meanwhile, this hide should be fun. My
first attempt at placing this was too close to the nearby IHP
cache, so I had to venture quite a bit deeper to find a location
that exceeds the original in beauty. You can approach from a
certain Sunny Hollow mountain biking trail, accessible via Hercules
Dr (there's a map at the trailhead, and the trail signs I saw were
blue). There are also a couple of pull-offs on Rt. 7 that you could
approach from. The bushwhack I took to place this cache would make
most lose their breath, but there may be better approaches. Also, I
have a $50 GPSr, so don't take the coordinates for granted.
