A small Lock and Lock just off the trail in SGL #274.
This Giant must have lived next to this spring it's entire life. Always being fed with life giving water no matter what the weather. Unfortunately, because the surface water was so easy to get, the tree never dug it roots down deep in search for it. After decades of growth the Giant toppled not having deep enough roots to survive some storm.
The trials of life help us grow deep roots so the storms of life will not knock us down.
