To get to this cache you can come from Lovell Canyon or from the Red Rock Scenic loop. You will need 4 wheel drive and probably a person to spot for you to get within 100 feet of the cache!!
There is a FTF prize in the cache!!
The road the cache is located Rocky Gap Road aka Potatoe Ridge Road, this is a back way to Red Rock from Lovell canyon or Lovell Canyon from Red Rock. This road was once the only road between Las Vegas and Pahrump but now it is nearly impassible. I do know that Pink Jeep Tours does do repairs with BLM and other groups from I me to time. If you do drive through this section of the road post pictures of your vehicle going through I'm sure there will be some really cool shots!!!
When I placed the cache I was by myself so I didn't go through this section of road I stopped where you drop into the wash and walked in to where I placed the cache. Have fun on the only road you can off road on in Red Rock and I can't wait to see some pics!!!!
