PT: Tribunal - Inaugurado em 1959, é um extenso edifício característico do Estado Novo, erigido por mão-de-obra prisional. No exterior, um relevo de Euclides Vaz, cuja temática se relaciona com “O Direito Natural e a Lei” e “A Doutrina e a Jurisprudência”. No interior, na sala de audiências, pode ser apreciado um fresco de Martins Barata, representando D. João, antes do embarque para Lisboa, onde viria a ser aclamado Rei - D. João IV.
Parque municipal do Montijo - Criado por decisão da Autarquia, em 21 de Agosto de 1929, as obras de construção do Parque Municipal, então ao estilo tradicional português, arrastaram-se por vários anos, passando do construtivo inicial ao estado de abandono que tinha em 1949. Em 1952, o Executivo liderado por José da Silva Leite, considerando o Parque de extrema importância para o bem-estar da população, propôs a remodelação integral do espaço. Em 10 de Janeiro de 1956 Caldeira Cabral apresentou o projecto que, após rectificações, foi aprovado em 1959. Implantado numa área de cerca de 3,5 ha, o Parque formou um rectângulo de 270 m x 120 m onde foram plantadas árvores da flora nacional: carvalhos, sobreiros, ulmeiros, amieiros, choupos, freixos, olaias e tílias. Hoje mantém-se um aprazível espaço verde, com amplas áreas de relvado, área desportiva, bar e recantos mais intimistas. Recebeu o nome do seu maior impulsionador, Carlos Hidalgo Gomes de Loureiro, líder do executivo camarário da década de 30 do século XX.
