This is one of the best places to see all of La Crosse's majestic bluffs. This puzzle cache has two parts before the final. At the starting point there is great information about five of these bluffs. The first sign has four dates listed from top to bottom. If you place all of these dates together you can get clues for the final waypoint.

Your next stop will be a few miles from the parking area. At this waypoint you will find a steel landmark post with many numbers and letters on it. You are looking for the string that begins with the letter 'E' and is followed with all numbers. Convert the three letters below into numbers. The string is vertical. Please stay South of the private land signs beyond the post.

The container is an regular. Plan for a few hour tour of the bluffs from waypoint 1 to the final. The terrain is steep, rocky, slippery, and muddy at times. At the start of your adventure you get a great view of the bluffs from below. At the end of your adventure you get a breath taking view of the coulee region.
Extreme Challenge - For the cacher who wants more of a challenge. You can start at waypoint 1 and walk or ride your bike all the way to the cache using the trail systems. Start in Hixon, then up the TNT trail to Rim of the City road to the final waypoint. Keep track of your time and email it to me. Don't forget to post your time in your log.
