Legend has it that the well in this little park behind the old Senior Center once held a grand treasure. A man who struck it rich supposedly threw his gold down the well in an attempt to keep it out of the hands of bandits coming after him. They searched his possessions and make their intentions very clear, but never found his treasure. Several people since followed legend's X, but the well, now housed in one of the sheds, is not hiding anything.
Placed with permission, this little oasis offers a nice spot to sit and rest. Pleasant water sounds and birds chirping in the wind soothe the soul.
