Check this website for more information. Bennington is a ghost town along the PRR. Like most ghost towns in the area it was known for mining. However, this town was mainly built by the Irish who were hand digging the Gallitzin Tunnels. The cache is placed in the outskirts of the cemetery which is the resting place of many Civil War veterans. The cache is placed on State Game Lands so please wear your orange. Parking is available at the coords listed and is a mile and a half walk round trip, however you can continue on the road to the next game lands gate. This road takes you about 3/4 mile along active railroad tracks, which would take you within 0.10 mile. Please use caution if using this trail.
