Crazy Land Travel Bug Hotel Traditional Cache
graciedi: I'm told that area is being developed and new owners want the cache removed so I"m archiving it. I hate to see it go. It's 14 years old and has 629 finds. It's had a good run.

I've wanted to place a travel bug hotel for a while now and just today found what I think is the perfect place. It's near I-64 so it should be a good place for bugs and coins to rest before continuing their journey.
I call this part of Illinois "Crazy Land" because all forms of communication (cell phone, internet service, etc) shut down as soon as I cross from IN to IL. Don't get me wrong, IL will always have a special place in my heart - some of the finest people I know live here.
Cache is a camo'd lock'n'lock big enough to accommodate many bugs and coins. I also put a few items the little ones might like to trade. I'm starting it out with a travel bug I picked up on our journey to GeoWoodstock IX last week.
There is parking across the road or on the side of the road. Should be an easy enough find but the ground is uneven and there's some brush to walk through on the way to the cache (just about 100 ft).
