Neptune Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache is a part of a series of 10 caches that make up a scale model of the Solar System. If the dome of the Westmont Observatory (diameter 5.67 meters) represents the Sun, then Neptune should be in this location and have a diameter of 18.5 cm. The Westmont College Observatory houses the most powerful telescope between San Francisco and Los Angeles. The observatory is open for public viewings in the evening on the third Friday of every month, weather permitting.
You are looking for a camo'ed Nalgene bottle. The cache is a little ways up the trail that goes to the Playground (waypoint provided). Great bouldering in the area.
