Logbook,pencil and small swaps
This was the site of a large roading area. Tar was delivered in drums by rail, it was rolled up short lines over the top of wheeled cauldrons and poured into these for heating.
By using this product most of the sealed roads in this area were first sealed . The ready transport of today was certainly not available and the use of the railway was the only way this type of product could be brought into the area.
